About Our Association
Our Meetings are every 3rd Tuesday of the month.
You are more than Welcome to come and visit,
Membership is open to any Provider
who is Registered, Licensed or Listed with DFPS .
Annual Membership Dues are $30.00 per year
and are due each January. If joining
after September 1st, dues will be $15.00 for the
remainder of the year. All dues are non-refundable.
Current copies of CPR and First Aid Certificates,
Registration Certificates and Renewal Checks will be
submitted to the Treasurer.
All members must abide by Texas Minimum Standards
and be in good standing with the State. You are
required to have a minimum of 20 hours of training per year
in various areas, all pertaining to the well being of your children.
You will receive 2 hours of training per month. In addition
CPR / First Aid is offered every
"odd" year in October
for a fee.

Even though these providers are Registered, Licensed or Listed
it is still your responsibility to interview each provider thoroughly.
We do not screen the providers or inspect their homes.
We require a copy of each providers license at the time of
membership, but do not maintain current copies thereafter.
Therefore, it is up to you (parent / guardian) to view the providers
license at the time of the interview to ensure their current status.
Each provider is expected to meet and maintain all
requirements made by the
Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS)
including a Criminal Background Check and CPR / First Aid
except Listed Homes.
